Vinyl Party: Vinyl Party is an infectious, groove-based band, shaking up and spitting out a fusion of funk, rock, soul & hip-hop. Our goal is to keep those heads nodding, bodies swaying and good vibes flowing!
Drew Brandmeier: Drew grew up in a robot factory and was quickly put to work at the age of 7. The robots were soulless and cold as were most of "people" that made up the work force. Having toiled too long at a detrimental pace, Drew grew tired of the look on his face. Endlessly assembling mechanical hordes, he stopped and said "I cant take it no more". It was then he decided to escape. Disguising himself as old scrap metal he hid in the debris piles that lay discarded behind the factory. He hitched a ride to freedom in the garbage trucks that came to clear the old rusted metal parts of cracked cogs, stripped brackets and oil soaked pistons. Drew leaped from the moving vehicle into a perfect ninja roll as the parading line of smoke spewing garbage haulers grumbled away into the night. Then it was quiet. Drew had never been anywhere so quiet. Never had he heard the wind through the grass, or the crickets tapping ass, or the clouds as they rolled over the stars. The clanging, banging, honking, grinding, never subsiding, ringing in his head was gone. Peace had come to his jangled nerves, the thought of doing anything else just seemed so absurd. Breathing in the night air, no more metal or smog, he whistled "Regulators" by Warren G and Nate Dogg. Ever since he has been playing music wherever and whenever he can.
The Deltaz: Through vocal harmonization, insightful songwriting, and powerful musicianship, The Deltaz experience is truly unique. The raw energy and authenticity of their live shows is captivating and unforgettable. The Deltaz began with two brothers - John and Ted Siegel. Since they were boys they idolized the great musicians of the past. As soon as they were able, they sought to imitate the subjects of th eir admiration. First John picked up a pair of drum sticks, and soon after Ted became infatuated with the local music store’s window display guitar. They played, they listened and they forged what would become The Deltaz core sound. The brothers matured and so did the music that The Deltaz performed. Although The Deltaz play music that is unmistakably influenced by the artists of the past, they provide audiences with a new take on some of the greatest popular music in history. At their studio located within their remote mountain residence, The Deltaz are constantly writing, rehearsing and recording their music.
