June Humor was originally formed in eastern Europe as a reactionary musical response to the Communist sentiments that pervaded the Slavic culture. The music spread quickly throughout the European continent and as a by product of this, June Humor enjoyed a lengthy yet tumultuous several years as a touring band spreading the word of democracy and capitalism across the continent. Certainly this led to sweet and resounding victories for their cause, but was also met with frequent hostility. The big geographic move was decided upon just under a year ago when the four members, Artur Pachekovich, Ivan Malonsky, Dmitri Alexandrovich, and Andrei Dreherov decided to abandon their stardom in the greater European locales and move to the United States in a new and daring attempt to do away with their political ties and see how their music was received for exactly what it was without ulterior motive from their audiences. It is here that they toil long hours in fierce efforts to stay their course true and to become western artists and craftsmen of music that will be remembered through the ages
